Origami Kataguchi Matcha bowl - green Matsukaze

Practical and beautiful matcha bowl by ORIGAMI from Gifu (Japan).

The perfectly sized bowl holds 1-2 servings of matcha green tea. Made from newly invented ceramic (stone-like material "LISTON"), combined with a matte, soft-coloured glaze, ORIGAMI has created a product that has both the strength of industrial-grade solidity and the warmth of ceramic.

The bottom is a round bottom suitable for spotting and kneading. The slotted mouth makes it easy to grip and pour, while the structure is such that when matcha is made, the liquid is returned to the inside, creating a fine, hard-to-spill foam.

The traditional look is perfect for a tea ceremony.
